More recently, the Pavilion
has been host to the Father of Bluegrass music, Bill Monroe.
In 1994, the Springhill area was featured in
the movie “A River Runs Through It” and the cast and crew
ate in the Pavilion. When Robert Redford returned to Montana
three
years later, he chose the Springhill Pavilion for filming the
romantic dance scene in “The Horse Whisperer” movie. The
Pavilion has provided the community and much of the valley a location for its special events for the last
130 plus years, and is still going
strong! We are looking forward to the
opportunity of hosting your special
event and sharing our history with you, while you
become part of ours.
